Mexican Embroidery Birthday Card

My friend loves Tatty Devine. So for her 30th birthday I made her a special Mexican Embroidery inspired birthday card! I love the green and gold leaves.

Happy Birthday Helen framed paper cut

My cousin loved her Special Space Bunnies Edition Birthday Card so much that she framed it! She did a wonderful job, it's perfect! I did suggest she remove the lettering, as it's on a separate layer, but she was exceptionally happy with it being her birthday all year round!

Bike Wedding Card

I needed a speedy solution to making a wedding card for friends. I took an idea from paper cut artist Joe Bagley, adapted it, cut it out and got it sent off to the happy couple who love cycling…

Knitted Pergola in The Forum, Norwich

Today I saw this amazing feature in The Forum, Norwich – a pergola with over 10,000 knitted flowers, leaves and animals on it! Made by people of all ages from all over the world, they are raising money for a charity. I think it's incredible! I can't knit!

Mother's Day 2014

I tried to be a bit more free and loose with my cutting style this time. But it doesn't work like that with paper cuts. You can see at the bottom I've been too relaxed and made wobbly thicks and thins. Bad form. The trick is making a design that looks relaxed and fluid, but cut it out in a very controlled manor so as to define the design perfectly.
