C for Catherine
Decorated tote bag and notebook.
I am fascinated by how such a simple character can have so many variations. This bag design is a collection of 'the same but different'.
One-of, hand painted design.

J for Jenny
Tote bag with the elegant J of Century Schoolbook Bold, chosen to suit Jenny.
There are many lovely J's to choose from, particularly in serif faces. I chose this one as I love the bauble end on the hook. Jenny also commented that she likes this round ending.

Dankeschön-Karte
A thank you card to a lovely pair of friends for a lovely birthday gift.
I couldn't find paper in the same shades as the gift, so I used the bag the gifts came in to make the card…
…and signed with our wood block letters, bought from an antique store in München

Cube alphabet
Based on the grid of an isometric cube outline, I created this alphabet design with the intention to use it for paper cuts as it's grid structure makes it simple to cut by hand.
Inspiration taken form the typeface 'Sol' by Radim Peško, seen at the 'Design Blast' conference at the ZMK, Karlsruhe (18.11.2011), and also from the 'Triso Typeface' by Ric Bell. I drew from these sources what I felt was most logical, important and appealing in the shape formations.
